Nissan Silvia turbo 1986
Stage 2 Under construction for 2007: Improved cornering abilities via front suspension geometry changes
and aerodynamic work, incl. rear diffuser tunnel, front splitter, Gurney flap etc. Brand new Tremec TKO-600 
gear box with a custom bellhousing. Visual changes and tidying up both interior and exterior.

Stage 1.5:
Changes from Stage 1: Rear wing added, adjustable front ARB, Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires,
much stiffer rear springs, heat insulating work in the engine compartment, modifications to the 
fuel system, twin pumps etc.

Results:
Historic Race, Alastaro 9.9.2006: 4th place, best lap 1:31.354



Stage 1:

Changes from stage 0: Added over 100kg's of safety equipments, structures and extra weights to meet regs.
Light devices added, battery moved backwards. Bonnet attachments improved etc. Oh, stickers too :)

Results:
Historic Race, Botniaring 9.7.2006: Positions 7th and 6th, Best lap 1:23.947
Historic Grand Race, Ahvenisto 27.8.2006: Positions 6th ja 7th, Best lap 1.38.220




Stage 0:

Chassis: Nissan RS12 hatchback
The original interior has been removed completely along with all soundproofing. A full roll cage and
chassis seam welding has been done. Spare tire's place removed, wheel arches heavily modified.
Full electric power steering adapted from an Opel Corsa with in-cabin adjustment for steering feel.
Momo Acropolis bucket seat, Momo steering wheel and 6-point harness. Racing fuel cell in the trunk. 
DIY fiberglass wide bodykit. 

Engine: Nissan SR20DET
JUN forged pistons, con rods, camshafts, dual valve springs, valve guides, titanium retainers
and solid lifters. Nismo 740cc injectors. Cylinder head ported by Ari Saarinen.
Turbonetics T3/T4 turbo with ceramic ball bearings. Sarlin Race Team flywheel.

Transmission: Nissan SR20DET (S14)-gear box, Alcon-sintered dual plate clutch. 
S13 3.9:1 differential case with Cusco RS 1.5-way LSD.

Suspension and brakes: S13 rear subframe conversion. S12 style front suspension. 
Uniball jointed control arms all around. Bilstein custom race suspension by Rallysystems.
Alcon brakes, 330mm/310mm discs, four pot calipers and Ferodo pads.
Compomotive wheels and Toyo tires.
